3. I fix what's breaking. Within a focused 3-hr rescue window, I resolve the immediate emergency and get your site back to working order.
4. You get back to business. You'll know exactly what went wrong, what I did, and how to keep it from happening again.
What the Flat Fee Fix Covers
Our $697 flat fee covers a focused 3-hour rescue window: diagnosis plus resolution of the immediate emergency. Most emergencies fit inside that window: a broken checkout, a plugin conflict, a white screen, a failed update, a payment-to-order breakdown.
If it turns out to be bigger than a 3-hour fix, you're not on the hook for surprise charges. Your flat fee applies as a credit toward the larger fix, and I'll give you a clear scope and quote before any further work begins. You stay in control of what happens next.
What if it can't be fixed fast?
Not every emergency can be fully resolved inside a 3-hour rescue window. Some problems live outside what any developer can fix on the spot in that time.
A few examples:
- A host-level outage or server failure that your hosting company controls, not your site
- A corrupted database that needs restoration from a backup (which may sit with your host)
- A third-party service—payment processor, DNS, email provider—that's down on their end
- Damage from a security breach that requires a full cleanup beyond emergency triage
If we hit one of these, you don't walk away empty-handed. You'll get a clear diagnosis of the root cause, the exact steps to resolve it (and who needs to take them), and, where it helps, a direct handoff or referral to the right party: your host, your processor, or a specialist.
We won't leave you without an action plan that is explained in normal, everyday terms.
